Farmall M freeze plug location

Are you telling us it froze and popped out a core plug/Welch plug?

Or has the one at the rear of the block rusted out, and you have water sneaking out of the flywheel housing? That requires a split of the tractor.

Or,(possibly) is the steel plate bolted to the sidw of the block rusted out?

Well it's not mine. There's one for sale and he thinks he blew the freeze plug. And it's cheap.

Below sn 82498 there are two expansion plugs. One in front behind cover and one in rear behind rear mounting plate. Front one may require removing the other plate behind timing gears also, can't remember for sure.
