Ot:Sirius radio

How reliable is Sirius radio in the mountains out west? I know it's satellite but so is dish network and I know how unreliable that is.

I live in Flagstaff, AZ. and have property in Colorado. The only time mine doesn?t work is in the car wash and on heavy snow days when the cloud ceiling is very low. Tunnels in CO. will knock it out.

I very rarely loose signal. But I don't care for it anyway. Each station only plays a few songs over and over and if you listen a lot you soon have them memorized.

I've not driven in the Rockies since I've had Sirius XM but I loose signal only in buildings and tunnels.

The radio buffers the signal to prevent loss of content during brief outages caused by signs, trees, bridges, etc.
