Road grader runs

Helped a friend get his grader to run after a year in
the rain. Cleaned points, drained the water from
sediment bowl and carb. Plugs cleaned with carb
cleaner, and a few sniffs of ether. Smoked a little at
first and good to go!

You are right Seller, what a maintainer can do is only limited by the operator. I've seen an old Cat 12 make a 1 mile long irrigation canal so fast it was unbelievable. The guy ran it at what looked like a 45 deg. angle and it was rolling some dirt.

I've got one just like it except mine is a diesel. Those gas engine M65 motor graders had to be rare. Mine is actually an Allis Chalmers M65 and not the Fiat Allis. Fiat bought them out in 1972 I think and everything built after that date was a Fiat Allis even though it was exactly the same model.

Tell your friend to be real easy when he shifts gears as they don't make the gears any more and he'll never find even a used reverse gear.
