Dewalt vs Milwaukee grease guns.

My dewalt may not be better than milwaukee. I bought an 18v dewalt because I have many 18v dewalt cordless tools. No cordless battery will last forever. Some cordless batteries are hard to find 20 years later. My 18v dewalt battery has been around for a long time. I think I'll be about to buy aftermarket batteries for as long as I live.

Batteries are something to consider. I bought a bare grease gun, no battery or charger. So what cordless battery do you use?

I've had DeWalt 18v tools for years. Burglar left two 18v Milwaukee drills (drill and nut driver) fitted for drilling out door locks in a house I was renovating a few weeks ago. I've been using them and am really impressed with the performance and battery life. I won't be buying any more DeWalt tools or batteries, I'm switching to Milwaukee.

Andy,
My problem is I have about every dewalt cordless tool sold. I'm too old to
consider changing brands. I estimate I have over $1000 dollar in dewalt tools.
I have some cordless tools I don't think I could find in other brands. So I'm
staying with my old dewalts and only have to buy replacement batteries I can
use in all my tools.

Battery technology is my concern if switching brands. I don't think there is a
perfect battery.

I have one of each. I bought a Milwaukee to replace an old Lincoln which broke. I was given the Dewalt as a patronage gift by a seed company. They are both better than the Lincoln, but I think I like the Dewalt a little better than the Milwaukee.

I have a Milwaukee and no problems with it. All my cordless tools are Milwaukee 18v so I went with it so I only have one battery size to deal with. I probably have 20 Milwaukee cordless tools.

Milwaukee has 2 grease guns. An M12 and an M18. The M12 is a basic grease gun that's kinda slow and a little low on pressure. The M18 is the fancy grease gun. 2 speeds. 10000+ psi in low speed. High speed is stupid fast and still high pressure. You can select the number of pumps, if you want to put 5 pumps in each bearings etc, that can be selected. I can't say enough good about it. Love that grease gun.

You can add it all up for me, post back the total.

1475-ish. If you bought them in sets, it could be less, All these prices are individual.

My point being, can can anyone see pitching all the tools because you have an issue with the battery? I can't. Batteries aren't that expensive.

M18 Milwaukee hands down. Has light trigger lock 2 speed and number of pump setting. Also there is a button on the batteries to see how much charge you have

Have the Dewalt one, but mine seems to push the plunger through the end of the cardboard tube before it's empty so changing tubes is a pain.
