owatonna 330 skid loader right side locking up

I have a 330 owatonna skid loader that locks up on the right side while moving forward, if you keep going between forward and reverse it will unlock and you can keep going til it does it again. any idea what causes that. bad drive motor?, right side control valve?

Probably bail safety brake is not adjusted right.

I'm guessing you may have a chain out of adjustment? That was common on older NH's.

On the one I had years ago,it was the hydro pump failing that gave the lock up syndrome

I'd guess the bearings are out on one of your idler sprockets. I'm
not exactly sure how that machine is set up, but I had a Mustang 940
(newer, and couple sizes bigger ) do the same thing. The idler would flop around and the chain would get jammed up.

Take your chain case cover off and look around in there. I'd bet it will be fairly obvious.

I agree with hydro pump failure with damage to the hydro motor.
