john deere 401d transmission problems

our ranch has a john deere 401d industrial loader/ tractor. recently I started having transmission problems.
its pulling ok on level ground, but it is stalling on about any uphill grade. where it used to pull uphill at no lower than high range 1st gear. it now has to be put in low range, 1st, or second, just a crawl. I changed hydraulic, and transmission filters, and fluid. and I cleaned the sump screen. but still no better.
does anyone have any experience, or suggestions on what else to check before I send to it to a 90.00 hr shop.

thanks for your reply. if these pressures are off, would that be a sign of the forward and reverse shift valve bad, or a bad hydraulic pump.
when we removed the sump screen, there was a lot of debris on it, that we removed.

I wanted to post an update on this John Deere 401d loader tractor, in case anyone would be having similar problems.
We noticed the front of the radiator and oil cooler had a lot of debris in it.
We took a nozzle on the end of a water hose, and gave it a good cleaning.
The tractor is doing good now.
It taught me a good lesson.

If that screen was plugged with brake or clutch friction material. The plugging problems will return . What kind of oil ?
