Not getting power to the header Clutch. Seems to be a problem in the key switch. Can I run a wire direct from the battery to the wire that comes off the key switch or should I be looking some where else for the problem. Is there a wiring diagram some where for this Have a key switch
From 95 similar year but does not have the resistor on it.

It's been a long time since I had the 105 with that electric clutch so I'm foggy on this. Is the 'key switch' a switch that looks like a dimmer switch in an older vehicle? I would think the clutch takes a full 12 volts so I don't understand where the resistor comes in unless the resistor is really a condenser to suppress radio static. On the 105 that clutch is a little wimpy so I don't see where it should get less than 12 volts. I suspect throwing 12 volts at it would be OK. You could look it up on the Deere parts website so you can trace it just in case that resistor is for real. Just some rambling thoughts.

The main ignition switch supplies power to the other switch. I am not getting power to the "dimmer" switch.

I don't really know if this is your problem but a few years back I had to fix 5 or 6 mouse chews on a 1660.

Thought I would mention this and to find it you have to keep looking.
