This sounds like a dumb question, but I have drained the oil on my JD MT (never owned one before) and I cannot locate the place to put new oil back in. The manuals I have do not show this, only how to drain and check.

Valve cover breather protrudes through RH side of hood. It's outlined in blue.Pull breather off & pour in the oil.

Well that is something I would have never guessed. I know the dipstick port is way too small. I will give your suggestion a try.
