Happy wife,happy life

Got the wife back on wheels today. Found a 2009 Mercury Mariner Premier, same thing as the Ford Escape she lost, just a little fancier. Super sharp one owner, always serviced by the dealer where it was bought new. A whole bunch more miles on it than the one she had. About 70,000 more in fact, but it's nice and she's happy,so that's all that matters. Had to drop $8000 of the $8387 the insurance company gave me for the one we put $8768 in to just three weeks ago,but I sure learned a lot about Michigan No-Fault insurance and Michigan titles without having to pay for college tuition to learn it.

Everything's back to normal.......for now.

Great to hear Randy. Hopefully she can drive this one for a lot of trouble free years. RB

Congrats!

My wife is first female in her family to drive. She loves it.

We have a Ram 1500 here and a Toyoda Land Cruiser in the Philippines. She can drive both.

OMG a Ram 1500 in Philippines is a monster !!!!
Is it a diesel?
Seems like all the compact pickups and SUVs in Philippines while I was there were diesel and manual transmission !!!!

Might be even better than you think. Somebody said there will be lots of used water-soaked cars and trucks in the market soon from Texas.

If you are in the market to buy any vehicle of the sort, best way to tell if a flood survivor is to reach up under the seat and feel the seat springs. If rusted, don't walk away, RUN!!!!!!!!!!!
