C135 engine

I have a c135 engine in a air compressor that has a spun bearing. After dropping the pan, there is what appears to be a alloy block that spans the rear of the block, covering the rear main. My question is, how does this come out? Is it just held in place with sealer and the pan bolts, or are there bolts behind the flywheel that hold it in? I pried on it lightly, but it seems to be quite secure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to remove the flywheel. It is a two piece thats bolted together after on the crank. So remove the flywheel and you will see.

That block is held in by the pan bolts and bolts through the seal housing Gene talks about. A 7/16 open end may get them?
