Half Century of Progress Rantoul - Sunday

Wanted to know if it is worth going to Rantoul on Sunday or have most of the people started pulling out early? Seems like most shows if you go on the last day the exhibitors have already started to pack up and left and you don't get as much out of it. Thanks in advance.

Youre right, a lot of shows really thin out on Sunday. Ive been here since Monday and am about showed out lol I was at another show all last week in Iowa, time to head home.....

Many shows say "you have to stay until xx o'clock on Sunday", but folks pack up and move out on Sunday morning anyhow, and who's going to stop them?

The standing crops were pretty thin I was told this PM. We are having the drawing for a pedal tractor with wagon, clock, and tool box at the JD tent at 1 PM. I am loading then to take my Bs the the FPS in Decatur then. Friday was the BIG day and today wasn't bad but not a big.

I left with my items at 5 PM Sat. and having attended all 8 shows thought this was the largest and had the most leave Sat. afternoon. I have another load to pickup Sun for friend and do not expect much to be there when I get there pre noon.

People leave early on Sunday not to be mean, but because they have a long drive to get home, equipment to unload when they get there, and work on Monday.

Around here most shows don't even do Sundays anymore. The shows are Friday-Saturday, or Thursday-Friday-Saturday, with the intention of giving everyone a day to load up and head home...

Problem with that is I'm now seeing people more and more leaving early on Saturday. It seems like you can only "show" for so long and when you get tired, it's time to leave.

Since I'm a long ways away, I've wondered about this for years... "50 years" take us back to just pre-1970, so is this a bit of an antique show, or a modern high-tech ag electronics, Tier IV diesel, and GPS show?

I'm where Barnyard's talking about, gotta travel Sunday, unload when we get home, start trying to get our minds right to get back at it Monday. I'd stay till the last minute of I could, can't.DP
