Good evening,
I am from Belgium I bought a forn 8n not turning and I had the project of all the redo it is all original lacking just a few details finally I already set the ignition for the candles its c is done but now I n It does not come to have gasoline until the candles because of my carbu surely but c is a holly carbu and I do not understand system if somebody could help me it is with pleasure you Max.
 
Max........owe bouy, I don't think well in metric...but...yer 8N Ford has a 10-gal (38-liters) gas tank that is gravity fed to yer carbie. You need a minimum of 2-gals (8-liters?) fer the carbie to work. Adjust the glass filter knob to 2-turns when running, be certain to turn it OFF at the end of the day or you will FLOOD yer engine. Ennytime you have running issues, change yer sparkies (candles?) Recommend AutoLite 437's gapped 0.025. Champion H-10, I don't remember the Bosch or Lucus numbers. BTW, Lucus is known as the "Prince of Darkness" (old joke). I have a 1976 MGB sportscar, so I am familiar with Lucus. As fer yer carbie, set the down-pointing mainjet to 2-turns and LEAVITT! Adjust the side-pointing idlemix fer FASTEST idle, NOT SMOOTHEST idle, understand the difference? Usually it will be about 1/8-1/4 turn.........HTH, Dell, yer self-appointed sparkie-meister
 

Thank you dell for your answer but my tank is half petrol and the other petrol no gas but I do a test for gasoline with a bottle of two liter but you say that fake at least 8l in the tank well has you max
 
You don't think well in metric, but he's from Belgium, he may not think well in pidgin English.
