Albert City totals

I don't have exact numbers, but was told there were in excess of 500 Case tractors displayed..... Way to go Case enthusiasts.

The total attendance to view those Case items was over 18000 people. We had great weather this year, which helped the attendance I'm sure.

Front page of the local paper stats were: 509 Case exhibits-18,796 people-300 pounds of candied bacon (wish I would have tried it), and 700 gallons of that homemade ice cream. No wonder my SC sputtered and had to clear it's throat when I took it home!

Oh, and they claim it was the largest gathering of Case equipment ever.

Have you guys got some rain the last couple days? Awful dry there when we were at the show....grass at the football field was completely
brown and had been that way for some time.

So very glad that I was able to attend. I doubt I'll ever attend one that rivals what was done at Albert City. gobble

I had one inch of rain four miles west of the show. Don't know what they got at the show grounds or in town but I would guess it was that much or more. It came down nice and easy.

OMG you passed on the candies Bacon it was great as we had a couple of slices plus shared a Grilled cheese on Texas Toast. It was my first experience at Albert City show and loved it even though I am a John Deere guy. My uncle lived just up the road many years but passed this past June but his family still lives in the area which is why I also came out. And I did get ice cream twice but after the pastor said Sunday morning that each pound of ice cream had a pound of sugar as well.
