Somebody needs to send out a memo on the chrome stacks. The only one that looks original is the two horsepower model.

PS: Should have posted another one if you were going to wander in that direction ! LOL

Well since there is no Case in those pics I'll go with the Oliver. Always liked those with the v-8 in them. And I agree on the chrome, leave it for the truckers.

Great photos, professional grade.
A Ford 9600 would have fit in that early 70's group nicely.
If I had to pick one for work the JD had most HP, but the Oliver would be my pick for show. I think the IH is the rarest as in fewest built.

ALL of those tractors are simply gorgeous (but agree about the chrome) and much more tractor than I need. If I had to rate them in a wish list, the Allis would be #2, and all others would be tied for #1! As far as AC goes, I'd much prefer a D-17 to D-19.

The Oliver is breathtaking! But then, I also like how the JD has guards to protect your feet. Surprisingly, only the MF has ROPS.

Thanks for the info. Although I grew up around horses, and have actually tacked shoes back on our riding horses, I've never seen scotch bottom shoes. Now that I've done a little web research, I see that the feathers on many large work horses kind of hide them unless you really look hard. My great grand-fathers work horses certainly didn't have them.

we can haul em down for ya james!!! what pasture do ya want us to drop em off in? kinda think the last batch we dropped off got put in somebody elses pasture ( kruser was navigatin!!) btw, how come we never see pics of kruser workin????? sure seems he does a lot of lolly-gaggin!!!

Nice pics. The JD brought back a memory. My 4020 at the time, had a leaking fuel cap, well worn out and all, didn't know the original color. Go to the parts desk and tell the salesman I need a fuel cap for........

He gets it, sets it on the counter and while working up the bill I open the box and see this RED thing. I pushed it back towards him and tell him I'm not putting that RED thing on my GREEN tractor. He said "sir, that's OEM". Reason is that the radiator is usually in front of engines (like on your truck to name one) and people have filled up their fuel tank with water. Ok I said, makes sense.

Get home and whip out my I and T manual and "surnuff" there sits a red cap op front. Makes sense.
