What is the best (proper) way to wire lights on 8N

On the 8N we had, the lights were wired through the ignition switch to a switch with a fuse holder that was mounted in the dash opposite the choke. The lights were grounded back through the tractor.

You can google this for the rear light routing "routing rear light wiring ford 8n"
Headlight wiring runs up the inside of the left hand side of hood.
You can google "jmor wiring diagrams" and get excellent pictograms of the wiring diagrams, color coded
