H 30 4 bolt plate?

Can you tell me what this is for guys? It is 4-bolt plate under and behind the mag....oil filter?

Fuel pump mounts on the other side for mostly stationary applications such as irrigation pumps etc.

A picture that shows it a lot better would help. The picture you have does not really show exactly where it is on the engine. If I could tell where to look I might be able to look at one of the 4 Hs I have and help you with that

dang! I thought it was pretty good! lol...I did say where it was located....below and behind the mag on side of the block - "W-30"

The only thing I can confirm it is for is when there is an inline generator installed, the mount for the magneto bracket is moved back to those bolts. There may be other uses as well. BT

Casting boss for a oil filter base that wasn't finished or used on the engine.

No guessing, no could be's, Here it is right from the parts book. Used to mount a special mag bracket with the inline generator special equipment.

hey thanks a lot! Just wanted to make sure it wasn't oil filter bracket....I guess it is "remote mount". Thanks again!
