Yup, Dad had one back in the 70's. I wonder what happened to the sheet metal? It's all bones now - not even skin & bones! :shock:

There's a 3-pt on there, but it's manual. You raise and lower using that long handle next to steering wheel.
 
Yep. Had one that a family member had passed to her. Got it running and it is used around her yard and for gardening.
 
uncle had a couple and he mowed a few acres with it. i think he rebuilt the mower deck a couple times. we ended up with his old one and only used it to pull the apple sprayer and a small trailer to move dirt as we didn't have implements for it. we only had 1 pulley on ours. motor slides back and forth to loosen the belt for the clutch. one forward and 1 reverse.
 
Dad had a sheet metal machine shop at the time. He "fixed" the original deck a couple of times, then built a deck from scratch! Used all stainless steel. *lol*

It was an OK little machine, especially as we only had a push mower before that, and I was the only operator! So he got the little Speedex, the belly mower and a pull-behind disc. We had a couple of gardens. Then he got tired of fighting with the thing and bought the Pasquali tractor. I LOVED IT!! He didn't. I could make that thing do everything 'cept sit up and yodel! *lol* Can't say I ever missed the Speedex.
