I'm like you, I'll listen to any kind of music, except lyric opera.
Back in the 80's I worked for an HVAC contractor in Gary Indiana.
We were putting an AC system in a liquor store on the west side.
There was a group of men on the corner rapping and it sounded good.
It wasn't the hateful gangster rap that gets the attention today.
I guess what they were doing doesn't sell.
