What's this tool...

This was in a lot that I bought at a sale last year. Guy wanted to buy it from me afterwards but then we were separated for a bit and I couldn't find him. Says Owatonna on the handle, no hay done on this farm.

It"s a ratchet. With Owatonna on it, I"d guess a ratchet wrench to tighten/loosen platform canvas on the swather.

it is a P-61. Part of Ford tractor service tool set to service rear axle. Used on 55 up 6-8 XX and 65 up 2000 and some 3000s

Go to ALLOY ARTIFACTS, then OTC . They made all kinds of tools since "way back" Special tools for many companys.

Thank you, I thought the guy said it was for a hay tool but looks like it was for many things. Maybe I can find someone that needs it. Lots and lots of tools and parts I came home with. Thanks again.

Used one many times with the Owatonna puller as shown. That was before we had hydraulic porta power equipment to pull sleeves etc.

It's a thru bolt ratchet for many uses. We use them on water main bolts and repair clamps all the time. They work great in wet muddy conditions.

As already mentioned, OTC, or Owatonna Tool Corporation. I have an OTC 3/4" drive socket set. When I worked for a John deere dealer many years ago, The splitting stands we used were built by OTC. Owatonna, Minnesota.
