I have a to20 will a 8 n ford pto engagement cover work ? the bolt holes are the same . the height is the same.

I don't understand your question, are you talking about the plate on the left side that the lever is on. If that is what you are talking about as it is only cover I can think of that has bolt holes not very likely as the 8N has a different setup inside than the 9N-2N that is made more like the TO-20. But that part would not be called a cover. Now if you are talking about on the back end of tractor to cover the spinning PTO shaft when not in use yes unless you have the 1 3/8" conversion from the orignal 1 1/8" shaft then it will not fit as it will not be long enough but there are no bolt holes involved there.
