I have a Ford 801 power master it will start but only run for a few seconds. I have bled the fuel lines and fuel filter. Any suggestions for what else can be done?

Check if the ignition coil is getting power when the switch is in the run position. Fords often have a resistor in the ignition circuit that is either built into the
wire, or a ceramic block device. If no voltage, that is the issue. Jim

I am guess it is an 801 gas which by the way there are some 7 or more models including diesel.
That said trouble shoot by doing these things
#1 check that you have a good blue/white spark at the center wire of the distributor and at the 4 plug wires that will jump a 1/4 inch gap or more
#2 pull the carb drain plug out of the bottom of the carb and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas that will fill a pint jar in less then 3 minutes. You say filters. Do yo have an stupid in line filter on it if you do very good chance it you remove it and have the correct sediment bowl on it your problem will go with that filter in line filters ARE NOT MADE to be put ion tractors with a gravity flow fuel system

Do you mean that it runs until you take your finger off of the starter button?

If yes - see Janicholson's reply.
