Summer colds

The coughing, sneezing, runny nose, fever,
so I can't rest kind. They suck! Ok, enough
whining
 
Allergies, used to just get it bad in the fall, now some in spring and later summer. Mowed 4 hours of dry dusty lawn Saturday, eyes itching, sneezing headache since. Supposed to take prescription nose spray, Zyrtec and eye drops daily but don't think about it on good days.
 
jon, rub bacon grease on your forehead. it wont help yer cold, but yer dog 'll love ya for it!!! and thats my medical advice for today, yer phriend...glennster!!
 
Not sure that would be a good idea since I frequent truckstops. Some of those flip flop wearers don't look like they have the self control it would take to resist me being baited like that.
 
I second Gab... might be allergies.

Daughter and I suffer from them and had what seemed to be a never ending "cold" when the trees were budding.

Now, the weeds are doing their thingy... and we both seem to be coming down with a "cold" again.

For us, it's just allergies. Round the clock, year round. :(
 
Jon, You gotta stop eating hot dogs, and start eating barbied chicken and vegies!!!!! HeHe. A little spud salad with eggs and mayonaise will also change your outlook on life. Your favorites, right???? He He.

I feel your discomfort, summer colds are definitely hard for me to get over, i can tolerate a winter cold way better
 
I've got one right now. Baled hay with a lot of clover in it yesterday. It was a long day.
 
Summer colds are often allergies. Your family doctor should be able to diagnose your symptoms and recommend some prescription or over the counter remedies.
 
Guys at work all have it. I take extra strength head cold and sinus tablets when the combo of steam and chicken dust at work plugs me up but it's only taking the edge off. I have a sore throat and the roof of my mouth is tender. Hope it passes over the weekend but as hot and humid as its been it might not take much to tempt me into taking a sick day Sunday night.LOL
