Well, I thought I'd seen it all. This guy looks serious. Note - I own that same model micro-mini Toyota motorhome. 17' long,
2.2 liter engine, max tow capacity of 1000 lbs. and max tongue-weight of 50 lbs.

True story: A year or so ago, I took my Ford Ranger (with a manual transmission) to a chain store for new tires. Scanning the employees in the shop area, they all looked to be really young. I ask the first guy that I saw if anybody there could drive a vehicle with a manual transmission. He face beamed and he said "Oh, yea! We got Igor working today. He drives in all the vehicles with a manual transmission!" He pointed to Igor at the side of the shop. Igor must have been in his mid to upper 70s.

My son is just finishing drivers training. They do not teach with a stick anymore but they do discuss it in class. He is starting to drive my 99 F250 with a 6 speed manual so i guess he would qualify to go along. Lol

Sounds like the young kids. He wants the motorhome but wants you to help pay for it. What happens when it breaks down. Is he going to let anyone over 25 work on it.

Hardly anyone these days under 25 seems to know how to drive a manual anymore, best of luck to him! Lol

I was the only person in my drivers ed class that knew what a v8 is. But I do have a manual truck, so maybe I should sign up!

Yea, looked like the grand youthful adventure, until he mentioned he wants paid for the vehicle too. Dream on. It's in his name, I'll do my food and gas portion and all, but I'm not buying him a free title. And his jeep in tow is gonna wreck it, that ain't my responsibility!
