GOOD TRACTOR & Dozer./

Well it has been a long time posting here. Been reading here from time to time.Son has been using all 3 pieces of our equipment ,tractor for gardening, dozer ,Bobcat for filling ditch..

Bought a used outside wood furnace and had to do a lot of piping
just to get the line to the garage.Had to build a weather tight box and bury it to house the 2 pipes, one line to the house ,the other line for the garage heater. My son in law rented a backhoe to dig the lines and a cement saw to cut out the floors.
We built a platform for the furnace to rest on ,with additional cement legs for support. Our old cement mixer(87 years old while I'm only 82 this month )did the job just fine.Still have a ways to go before wood cutting begins. A little at a time gets the job done.

Son did a lot of digging for my Son in law to equal out the time
he spent digging the lines at our place using the backhoe he rented. Going to set another outside furnace for my other daughter as soon as possible after my son re -moves the bad shingles from her roof and install metal roofing.

Like Jerry Reed sang" Got a long way to go,and a SHORT Time to get there." Now between Gardening and all the other pop up things that come daily, hope we last till winter comes.
Well I had other things we did but it would take up way to much space.
Will stop for now hoping all is well with all of you folks.
Warmest regards.

Glad to hear from you. It has certainly been a while. Glad things are progressing for you. I am real late this year starting to get my seasons fire wood in. It wants to rain every day and the woods are really soggy and wet.
Don't stay away from here so long.

Well it looks good today for no rain so my son is going at it again .setting plywood in the hole so the sand wont fall in on him when he has to dig out the box that holds the shut off valves from the tank to the house and garage. Surely will be a blessing to have continious heat source in the garags .We do have a wood furnace in the garage, and a torpedo heater to help boost the time to get the heat up.

I sure wish I was younger and had good hands and legs, but it isn't so.Not much of a help, but that's life I guess. I'm in the process of making a pex tool for crimping in tight places, and when it's finished that will be a present for my Son in law . I had to buy one so now I have a pattern to use for duplication

I do want to thank all of you swell guys who took the time to reply to my post. .Now it's time for me to move along, and I will be reading up on you folks from time to time.

Warmest Regards , LOU & SON.
