OT...I have a small lean-to addition that needs a 74" x 35.25" door. Can a used metal clad insulated pole barn door can be cut down to fit? What about fiberglass doors?

Are you looking for a door that swings open, or one that slide?

I've made thrm out of car siding type wood, not terrible difficult, easy to make fit. Could make the frame and tin it, I find tin tough to trim/cut nicely for such jobs.

If it's what I'm thinking, yes it can be cut down.

It will probably have Styrofoam inside. Once you cut the edge or end off, hollow out the foam, cut a piece of wood that will just fit inside the skin, seal it, screw it through the skin. If it's the hinge side make it deep enough to catch the hinge screws. If it is the bottom, drill some drain holes if the top is not sealed.

Same for fiberglass or steel.
