Hi I have a 1968 Case that is part of the 930 series but it is actually a 931 which is The Case 930 General Purpose tractor which was introduced in 1964 by putting the engine from the 930 Comfort King into an 830 chassis, creating a row-crop version of the 930. In addition to the row-crop chassis, the 930 GP also uses an eight speed transmission instead of the six speed in the 930 standard. It has a brand new clutch a new top end rebuild about 500 hours ago and it is extremely clean with great rubber. I was just wondering how much you guys think it is worth.

Depends on what exactly super clean and great tires means, as well as location and a host of other things. But nice ones sell for $3500-6,500 in my area.

I live in Minnesota the tires have 90% tread and when I mean super clean I mean you can clearly read all the symbols and writing and the paint isn't all faded I can put up a picture of it tomorrow morning.

Paint is one thing, how many hours on it? What work has been done to it? What's it's history? Is it 100% original? What mechanical shape is it in? All this plays into pricing.

It is original shape it has higher hours on at 7182 but it runs and
drives like it's brand-new a guy bought it brand-new in 1968 and had
it for two years and sold it to a guy in 1970 and he kept
it and farmed with it and then he sold retirement auction and I bought
it at the auction for $3800 and everybody there said I stole the tractor
for that price and it is 100% original.

With that many hours that is close on price. You might get a bit more. I would start asking about $4,500-5,000 and go from there. Unless you have evidence of an overhaul in that time, that engine will be getting tired and o-ring leakage could be a problem soon.

A 930 engine in an 830 chassis?? As far as I know a 930 is a 930 and an 830 is an 830. Each had their different models, be they GP or Western Special. The older 930s had the six speed, chain drive and the newer ones had the 8 speed dual range drive. I had a 69 model 930 , or 932 Western wide front model to be exact. They offered a GP model too but we rarely ever saw them here.

(quoted from post at 09:31:08 07/09/17) Look up Case 931 and tractordata.com tells you about it.

I would not believe everything they publish on tractordata.com. They claim the 930 was only built til 1967 yet I owned a 1969 model. I've been around 30 series Case tractors for 50 years and know a little about them. The 830 and 930, although in the same series, were quite different under the sheet metal.

I know but the regular 930 is taller than an 830 and my buddy has an
830 so we parked mine and his on level ground right next to each
other and they were the exact same height

There were tire options front and back that could vary height of the tractors.
