I am working on a to-35 the problem was the some bearings went bad and the Pinion gear got some bad chips in it. I was able to find a used Plantary complete and pinion so I replaced all bearings and wheel seals. I assembled it with the same amount of shims there was 5 on Right side and 2 on Left side everything works good but i noticed the Left side has a lot of movement in the axle and you can hear a clunking when you move the tire in and out. I did check they would turn oppsite directions . any advise? should I add more shims, Remove some
