Can anyone help with this question. Can anyone tell me anything about this fuel tank? Is it for a Model F? And the end caps of the tank are different. Is that correct?

Ohhhh kay. That looks like quality control. Or is this a flipped
photo. That is a real old school tank. Same kind of stuff on our cat.

Definitely not a flipped photo. Should be about a 1923 tank or so. Interesting, I guess it could be quality control. Thanks!
 
Another thought. Could be a repair. Someone cleaned the tank out many years ago and was a smart a......and soldered it on backwards. Maybe?
 
Yea, I am thinking it was removed and replaced backwards, there is some rust on it. I guess it is stamped to be able to attach it either way.
