Dual 250 Loader - fluid leak. Fix?

I have a 1960's Massey with a Dual 250 loader. The rig is perfect for what I need it for. The only issue is that the loader has a leak from the bottom (end nearest the operator, furthest from the bucket) of the boom which also houses the hydraulic cylinder. The leak is only on one side, not both. I have a picture of the spot that is leaking.

This is not a deal breaker for using the rig -- I just have to fill on a lot more hydraulic fluid than I would like and it is going to get costly over time. Anyone ever had a similar issue, or know if I am looking at a 1-hour fix or a 10-hour fix? My mechanical skills, on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being best, are about a 6-7..... so I can tackle it but not with a ton of speed and know-how.

My main question is if I need to begin tearing things apart, or if there are a couple simpler fixes I should try first.

Usually a leaky packing on a lift cylinder. You can do it yourself with some mechanical ability, take it off and take it to a dealers or repair shop, or have a mechanic come in and replace it. Kit is about $30.

If it's like the cylinders on my model 22,there's just a set screw through the side of the barrel holding the seal in.

Du-al loaders from that era are real leakers. Baum hydraulics used to have packing kits. They probably still carry them.

Thanks! I could definitely do something like that. I will order a new seal and see if it works. For $30, I might as well try that first.

I bought a Dual loader last winter, mine in s 435 but I sent a note to woods on internet and they were able to send me an operator's manual on it, talked about rebuilding cylinders. Also Messicks on internet had a breakdown on the cylinders.
