It's pretty sad but true...

My kids pulled two half dead kittens out of the fencerow and they knew how to use a litter box in one day, but I have 30 year old guys that can't make it to work on time. Just some thoughts in my head and frustrated today....

They probably can't hit the toilet either.
 
Funny you asked. Farming is my hobby, 30 guys here at my place for my real job. You would be surprised at the difficulty they have in that. Well actually in many things. I've just learned to roll with it most of the time. Luckily I have a portion of my moms blood
 
At the place I worked for 20 years an employee was only late twice if they didn't call or have previously OK it.2nd time out the door.People that are habitually late are usually
poor employees in other ways too.
 
Many years ago, sat in on a meeting with an old fellow that was being "counseled" about his absenteeism.

General Foreman asked him if he knew that he averaged only about 32 hours every week.

Worked road construction most of my life, I can't count the times guys would unhook a trailer and not the trailer light plug. Fixed alot of them. I would come home from a horse show with my three year old son, start to unhook the trailer and the first thing he would do is try to unplug the lights.
 
Heard a guy bragging one tie that he always tries to go to the to can and take a dump on working time . 10 minutes a day , 5 days a week , that is almost a hour of time at work that you didn't have to actually work . What a attitude !
