Stretch plastic for wrapped bales, has gone up!

A roll of plastic will wrap 22-25 bales, and now cost $140.00 per roll. Comes out to near $6.00 per bale. Starts to feel like buying your own hay! And net wrap for the baler runs near $1.00 per bale. They sure don't give this stuff away, but when I am done using it I will gladly give it away, lol.
Makes chopping hay into a bunker silo look cheaper all the time

I just looked up the place I get my wrap from, still 73 per roll. I get 1.2 mil 30". I pay a kid to come and wrap and charges $3 per bale, the wrap will cost me another $3 per bale so with twine, plastic, and the cost to wrap is a little under 7 per bale. That is 4x5 bales. I think about going back to chopping hay but I can't get as much done in a day as baling. Inline wrapped I should specify, kid bought a new wrapper this year also.

Wow, You need to take a vacation down to PA and stock up. The farm store down here is $65-$75 depending if its 20 or 30 inch wide...
I thought a bunch of the wrap was actually made in Canada...

I use a 30 inch white bale wrap and it cost me right at $100 per roll. I get about 24-25 bales per roll. I wish I could buy wrap for $70

30" sunfilm is $110/roll in PEI. That works out to about $5.50/bale. A roll of megaplast 40x115' will run you about $400/roll and cover a pile with 30 rounded 16' truck loads in it which is equivalent to 120-150 5' bales,
