We planted some a few years ago, a mile from the Canadian border, and it grew OK. It was in a mixture of food plot seed, the grouse seemed to like it.

You must have a lot of tile to keep your ground so nice and dry.

Round here there are always wet spots and rough going from the rains and clay.

Years a go my dad planted sorghum. Is this the same stuff or close? Has a sweet taste if you chew on it. Green chop for the girls and they just loved it. In the feed after you put a big manger worth down and park the tractor. You could hear them just scarfing the stuff down like little piggys.

That land is almost as flat as the Red River Valley between ND and MN. Rather pleasurable to work, I hope. Very little dust or were you stopped?

Good to here from you again.

Dad grew some years ago on the east end of the state. That was in the eighties and it seemed to do ok. Of course he tried wheat for a couple years too but it can get too wet here for it.

What kind of Millet? I planted Japanese Millet a couple years ago, was a multi crop. Took a while to dry but was the softest hay I had ever felt.

Good Morning Allan

I don't know about up where Allen is, but down here to mccook, we average about 25 inches a year. If the sun is out and the wind blowing, you can usually plant the day after a half inch rain. Tile would dry us out too fast.
