mf65 idle problems

have a mf65 will idle fine, rev it up to full throttle, will hold for bout 30 seconds, then tractor will start backfiring and die. can start rite back up, rev up to full throttle then starts backfiring and dies. have cleaned the fuel tank,fuel bowel, rebuilt the carb, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, tried to advance and retard cap, but nothing is working. any advice would help. thanks.

Sure sounds like fuel starvation.

Do some real trouble shooting not just throw parts at it because throwing part at it will cause more problem then what you fix.
#1 check that you have a good blue/white spark at the center wire of the distributor cap and at all the plug wires that jump a 1/4 inch gap or more.
#2 make sure you have a good steady flow of gas out of the carb drain plug that will fill a pint jar in under 3 minutes.
#3 does choking it hurt or help?? If it helps it is running to lean if it hurts it is running to rich
#4 when was the last time you serviced the air cleaner
