Where to get a rear tractor tire

So the old 13X38 rear tire on my S88 Oliver has finally gone bad. Very likely to be the one that was on it when it was new since the tire is the old tire size plus the rim looks very good and well the tube other then having one small leak is in very good shape. Side wall just finally has had enough of the sun and years of service.
I tried to do a search for Miller tire but that comes up with so many it is hard to know which is the one to go to. So do any of you have a direct link to Miller tire and or Tucker tire. I could mount a 13.6X38 I have but the rim is a tad bit to wide for it to look right plus the tube being the old tube size of 13X38 is to big to fit well in a 13.6X38 tire
Thanks

Rich I have two 13.6-38's with tubes I took off my 88 that I would give away. They hold air but aren't pretty. Too bad you're 500 miles away.

I should add, these tires looked fairly bad 15 years ago when I got the tractor and they don't look any worse now, I replaced them because I needed traction to pull a plow.

fixerupper, if Rich doesn't want to take them and you want to get rid of them, send me an e-mail. Let me know where you are.
I believe you are in NW Iowa. I am in Central Iowa and recently damaged one on my DC Case. They were unmatched and 1/4" cracks thru the outside layer, but have been holding air for the last 10 years and staying round until last week. They would be worth the price of dinner or supper, whatever you call that meal now days. Thanks, Roy

Ya 500 mile for me is way to far since to drive that far I would have to take at least 20 hours to get there and 20 to get back. Now days I can drive maybe 100 miles and then have to take an hour break to drive another 100 mile but thanks any how. Plus I need either a 13X38 or a 14.9X38 which is the new number. I have a 13.6X38 but it is really to narrow for the S88 rim which is a 13 inch rim

How wide is the rim? My 1940 M had totally worn out 14.9x38s when I bought it. I replaced them with new 13.6x38s. They fit and look just fine.

That's because the widest drop center rim for an M was 12 inches wide and they usually were found on SM's. Miller tire has a lot of inventory but usually can be beat on price.

The problem with Nebraska tire is their pricing is great until you ask for the tire - the 4-5 times I called them they are out of stock.

I have not measured the rim as such but just looking at the rim the 13.6X38 came off of and the Oliver rim I would take a good guess that the Oliver rim is at least 13 inches wide. Plus the other side has a 14.9X38 rear tire so putting a 13.6X38 on it would look funny and also maybe have me sitting sort of at an angle all the time

I can tell you that if you find a GoodYear "Titan" sized 15.5x38..it will Match a 14.9x38..

Mine are a good 3" taller and an inch narrower than my 15.5x38" Fireatones..they are not a match between brands ..

They pull just as well (in a real world Farming/Plowing type of use)..

All this Oliver S88 is used for is to pull my NH850 round baler. It is the only job it has even done on my farm and most likely will be the only job it ever will do

I have what ya need here ( and like new condition..one 13.6x38 and a nice pair of 15'5x38").

Plus, I also have a decent set of 15.5x38 clamp-on Duals..like NEW tread, but one is weather-checked real bad..would make a good pair of replacement 14" Rims..

Also about ready to let my JD 520 go..runs perfect, but the PTO has been noisy ever since I have had it..

Nice one for Drawbar work of parade..not ready to parade, but in nice condition..NO Rust and mostly original paint..

Until you actually measure the width of the rim, you can only speculate as to what size you need.

The 14.9 tires were most often used as a replacement for the 13.6. Gave slightly more footprint, but would fit the same rim.
