Cut tires

I see some tires listed in classifieds as cut, what is that?

Probably mean for tractor pull use, top cut and full cut are common..

Hello David G,

Cut tires are for tractor pulling. The local club here outlaws them. So my neighbor grinds them instead. The look like road worn tire, AND they are legal,

Top cut has top of lug cut down to resemble "road wear ". Full cut also grinds the front side of lug to make it straight (no taper or angle from casing to lug)
