930 case 1966 lift arms won't work , pro spins constantly

Looking at a 1966 930 case , can buy for $1800. But pto spins all the time & lift arms don't work. Think might be hydraulic pump & clutch on pto , any input would be appreciated.

Pto clutch might just need to be adjusted. As for the
three point hitch arms, could be any one of many
things . From the simplest , low on hytran , sump
pick-up clogged, filter plugged, pump or control
valve needing repair/replacing.
Go down to the Case section of this forum and
post your question again there, many good J.I.Case
fellas there, that can walk you through these
repairs.
Do the remote outlets work ?

I love to run my 930, a real old powerhouse. For the
money you are being asked to pay for this tractor,
you could do some repairs , and still have a good
tractor for the money. Big thing to consider is , a lot
of things can go wrong with any tractor that is 50 or
more years old. They are a tractor that can still be
used with many modern implements on the farm.

eah it's way more tractor than I need, but around here a little wd45 or 8n will cost that. I posted same stuff on the case forum. Thanks for your help, been nice talking to you.

no idea on the three point but the PTO is a clutch pack and you have some plates that are burnt and warped just did a 730 DO not buy from case dealer get after market taking apart and replacing is EZ getting your hand in side to adjust is not fun all in all not hard

I bought a 930 really cheap because of the same problems this one has. The PTO required a simple adjustment. The 3 PT. arms functions are controlled by a "lever" that's on the floor it would be behind your right foot when sitting in the seat. Pull the lever forward to the 1st or 2nd hole and see if that doesn't solve the problem
