They are 5-6" long and about the diameter of a horse hair. Yesterday was the first ones I've seen, but the wifey said there were some out in the flower gardens also. Their head is moveing all the time and they move like a snake.

Horse hair worm. It's a parasite they are born In bugs like crickets and when they are adults they make the bug host go to water where they bust out of the hosts body.
