JD 7000 plates - What planter settings?

Are there any YT experts on plates for a JD 7000 planter, plate-type?

The basic question is: What would be the correct sprocket combination for my plates?
I have a soybean seed plate from Lustran labeled B-Soybean2. It’s a 24 cell plate.

I have the planter manual. But, the chart for seed populations only goes up to 45,000 for 30 inch rows, which seems waaay low.

There is another section that gives seed populations in pounds.
In this section, I found 60 pounds per acre, which is what I want, about 150,000 soybeans per acre.

The chart lists 2 plates; H1255B and H2527B.
However, I did a little research and think these are both 20 cell plates, (Is that correct?) while my plate is a 24 cell plate, so I’m thinking these are not the correct settings.
Wouldn't a 24 cell plate use a different setting than a 20 cell plate?

How would I get the correct sprocket settings for these plates?
How would I find the correct chart for this?

Thanks for any help you can give!

Use the 60,000 setting and double the sprocket setting from there. Or with the seed in box catch the seed in a bag from the one row count the seeds or weight it. Then with the count and the distance measured you can figure your population.

As a kid I can remember my uncle running the planter down the gravel drive to be able to look at the seed placement.

It doesn't seem like the charts in my jd 7000 manual are very accurate. Do like Mike M suggested (maybe not on a gravel drive, but a hard dirt lane). you want about 8 seeds per foot. That should get you about 140000,which is one bag. that plate has pretty large cells, and the problem you might run into is it will drop several seeds from each cell.
