Tractor Museum/sightseeing

Will be traveling through Tennessee and Virginia along I40 and I81 later this month. Am wondering whether there are any tractor/agricultural related places or museums to stop and see along the way.

West Tn Agicultural Musem in Milan, just north of Jackson, Tn. Not been there but high ratings, google it. Lived in jackson from 1972-1975. Used to be a nice town.

Does it have to be ag related? Hop off 40 at Crossville TN and go north on US127 a little ways to Pall Mall. That's where all the Sgt York stuff is. Beautiful little place in the mountains. You'll think I'm nuts, but just north of Clark Range, west side of the road, there's a little screen printing business. Stop in there. It's like a museum in there. A whole bunch of little European mini cars, shelves and shelves full of toy trucks, just a neat little place. There's the Cumberland Mountain General Store a mile or so south of there across from the water tower. Interesting place.

Prety neat place , not that big but you can spend couple hours. One of the first ever cotton pickers on display as with other old ag equipment. Less than 20 minutes if you get of on US 45 at Jackson Tn and go north to Milan Tn and it is on the north side of town hw 45E . If you have never been there BRODWAY in Nashville is worth a couple of hours.

One other thing,if you do go up to Pall Mall and you're hungry,go a little farther north to where 127 Ts at a stop sign. Turn left on TN 111 for about two miles. You'll go down through a cut out in the mountain,on the right there's a place called The Farmhouse Restaurant. It's John Deere themed (One of my favorite places to eat in spite of that). A lot of times there's some old equipment sitting out front for sale. Between there and Pall Mall is Forbus General Store and Possum Trot. Two more places worth stopping.

Thanks for all your suggestions. Had thought about the Cyrus McCormick farm and the Keystone museum. Wasn't sure how much there is to see at the McCormick place. We may not be able to detour over to the Keystone museum, but the website looks it would be nice.

Drussell Not to far about two hours out of your way. Days Gone By tractor museum at Portland Tn, take a look http://www.portlandleader.net/people/portland-treasure-days-gone-by-tractor-museum/article_58a89577-8c03-5470-9398-5ba2e49adf22.html 125 tractors and lots of other stuff. Takes over half day to see it all.
