Update on Larry@stinescorner

Hi Folks,

My name is Kris and im a good friend of Larry's. I just wanted to let everyone know that I have been in regular contact with Larry and he is doing good. He has a few more days in the hospital and then he will be released. He is receiving the best care possible from some of the best known medical system in the entire country. From all the research I have done, I have full faith that he will be cured and back in his garden, along with doing his regular posts on tractor talk very soon.

We gave his garden a quick weeding yesterday until he can get back to it. It's doing well and pictures are attached.

When I spoke with him yesterday and asked if you all knew he was hospitalized, he perked right up and said " Oh Yeah!. I received about a half a dozen calls from all over the country!". I found that amazing!, so lets continue to support this great man through this setback as he would do for us.

Thank you and have a great day!

Kris

It is comforting to know he is in recovery and things look positive. Thanks for the update. (Larry, you are a """corner"""stone of the forum. May recovery be swift. Kris-- You would need to ask for permission from Kim to post pics as the privilege is limited to prevent scams. Or use Larry's logon. Jim

Thanks for looking out for him. I'm sure it means a lot to him that the weeds aren't taking over his garden. If you scroll down just a bit, you will see Tractor Tales Forum. Many responses there including an update from Beverly.
Thanks again, Loren

Thanks Kris....Larry will be happy that the weeds aren't taking over,,,but I see it took 2 of you to do what Larry does by himself.

Kris,

Thank you so much for letting us know. We all have Larry in our thoughts and prayers.
I'm so happy for the positive news.

Larry

Thankyou for the update on Larry. Living in England, as I do, I am unlikely to ever meet him, but I always read his posts and enjoy the news of his garden. Wish him well from me and my wife, if he ever gets this way, let me know, I would love to shake his hand.

Actually, there might have been a bit of mistaken identity there for a minute. That guy in back sure sorta looks like Al from Home Improvement, wouldn't you say?!?!? ROFL

Kris -- Thank you for the update!! We really do appreciate hearing the news here, and knowing that our friend is in such good hands. [/i:a774c6493c]

Kris,
Great to know Larry has such a good friend as you, right close by.
He is a friend of so many here in this cyber neighborhood.

We are keeping him in our prayers here in MN.

And may it all be as you say... that our great friend, Larry@Stines will be healed!
Looking forward to reading his posts and seeing his pics for many years to come.
And his wife and little girl need him around for sure!

Sweet & Mr. Sweet from MN

Thanks for the update, and thanks for weeding his garden. I know when I'm laid up, I get more concerned about the weeds in my garden than about the malady itself. You're great friends for doing that.

Thanks Kris.

Really good to know Larry has some "in person" friends there for him. He knows we're all praying and concerned, but nothing like having someone there in person to confide in.

We all need someone special, outside of family, that we can always count on to be there and give a listening ear. Someone to share our good times and our bad, the lovely and the ugly, without judgment or contempt.

Thanks for the update!

Prayers for Larry. Tell him if needs help up in PA I can assist. I live a little over an hour away but I will help if he needs it. Email is open if you need anything.

Kris, tell him to get well. We need to see more pictures from him. We all worry and care about each other on here. Get him a laptop so he can post and tell us what is going on or at least, monitor us so we don't cause any trouble. As John T would say " I'd do it for you". Good luck Larry we are all praying for a good outcome.

Kris, if the world only had guys like you and Larry in it, that would be a perfect world!

Thanks for weeding the garden! Looks like you had help from Bruce from Canada.... Well sorta looks like him! LOL

Take care of Larry for us, we need him!

Billy I don't think he would mind if you and I mowed the grass with his Ford. Wish we could get there but with your health issues and that dang thing I have called a job I don't think we are going to be able to make it. But I would if I could!

Thanks for the update Kris. Tell him when he gets past this he's coming to Florida to eat ribs with me and John T even if I have to fly up there and get him!!

Yes I was raised to help when you could. Makes me mad now that I can't. I still work at the store but I still have to take my time. I can still deliver the liquid feed. I have to crawl along the truck to get the pump and hose.Don't have to get in any hurry and all my customers know my problem.

If I was able to drive to Larry's place. I would but drive for an hour. Rest two would make a long trip.

Thanks for the news, please let Larry know all his yt friends miss him and wish him a speedy recovery.

Thank for being a good neighbor with the garden and all, and thanks for keeping us in the loop. Larry is good people, as evidenced by the friends he has-both "here" and I the real world. Looking forward to the day when he is posting and weeding for himself again.

Kris, thanks for the update, glad to hear he's doing Ok.
He's a very positive figure here on the forum and we love him!
I'll be waiting for him to post some more harmonica music.
