John Deere 655 755 756 855 856 hydrostatic trans creeps

John Deere 856 newly acquired: Hydro-static trans creeps in forward or reverse. I have tried lengthening and shortening the rods by two turns and seems to make no difference. Here is a link to the JD Parts breakdown:

Thank you in advance for any information/experience.

Neutral stop/cam is worn. So it is not making the linkage go to true center. If you adjust it one way then it just creeps the other way. Look inside the frame rail to where the foot control linkage is transferred to the actually hydrostat.

I got lucky: When checking the cam for wear, I found that it was loose on the square shaft that it was mounted to. I was able to tighten the bolt enough to make the cam fit snug on the shaft.
Also I found an eccentric adjustment on the mount that holds the roller bearing. I was able to adjust this with the drive wheels jacked up and the engine running. That and a tweaking of the pedal rods it no longer creeps and will be much safer to operate.
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction!
