Hi, thanks for the suggestions and info. I pulled the bowl off the carb. (Honda 500 tiller). Moved the float up and down several times.. put the bowl back on turned fuel on again. It started and did the job this morning.

Buy a can of SEA-Foam. Add a tiny splash to the gas and till a little more. Stuff really cleans carb gunk out !

I've seen that happen, especially with the plastic molded floats.

Must have something to do with the ethanol evaporating. Seems to glue the float and needle in place.

What's strange is it might happen in a month sitting, happen a couple times, then can sit all winter and not stick...
