Side dress corn

I'm going to side dress the sweetcorn when I cultivate. Was wondering what the optimal distance is into the row from the crop? Will be side dressing with 46 00 urea or possibly 20 10 10 first cultivation then urea second cultivation

We spread urea over the whole field.

It does not matter how it is put down, because the cultivator is going to mix it into the ground anyway. I sometimes use a spreader wagon, then sometimes just spread it by hand. But on big patches I side dress with anhydrous ammonia. I will have about 10 acres of sweetcorn all together.

I some times get urea on my feet if I'm not close enough to urinal. My pump is a little weak.

I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to share that.
