Does anyone have a John deere 435 with the GM diesel they want to sell? I want to restore one.

Can't help you with finding one but I just want to say how impressed I was with the 435. There used to be one that came to a few of the tractor pulls for a couple of years. It was very impressive that with so much noise that he would go such a short distance.

There is an auction at Sugar Grove WV with a JD 435 in it in a couple weeks.

the suger grove wv auction may be this weekend look at auction zip to see, and lots and lots of jd stuff ,tractors, equipment,and lots of toys, worth going to.

No,you just stopped at the bottom, put blinders on the head lights, put the 4ways on and stuffed her in bull low and carried on.

They were called the 430W and 440IG

There was one that pulled here in NNY, matter of fact the owner used to post here on occasion.It wasn't a great puller but not all that bad either considering it was bone stock.The M,40,430 and 435 were all handy tractors.I wouldn't mind having any of them.

There was one in a local paper here a couple of months ago. Asking $12K with a No. 9 mower. Ad ran for several weeks.

Mecum Auctions have 3 in the Muscatine sale June 2 + 3 but they look restored. I like mine except the hydraulics leak worse than my old 238 Detroit.

The 435 was terrible noisy with the round muffler however with the optional oval muffler they are ok while wearing ear plugs.
