How many of you guys have done this.....?

Buried my 3600 Ford in the lakefront last year. Does that count. Got a
little close to the water spreading sand. Industrial tires don't like
reverse in soft muddy sand. 1000# can on the back. Had to push out
with the loader. And yes, once was enough.

When I was young dad had a friend that work on a local horse farm owner had more money the brains. His kids want to go ice skating on the pond.Owner took a tractor and went on the pond to clear the snow.I guess you know what happen next in involved hip waders and tow chains.

I haven't but use to pull my neighbor out about once a year or so. He finally got a second tractor so its been a while.

The previous owner of my house property
slid on the pond bank.....Rolled over
and got killed at the same time. I'm
very careful around that patch of
water. I had a close call a few years
ago. Before the month was out I had a
dozer there and smoothed things up a
bit. I still think of the poor guy
every time I mow it. I guess I can't
see the humor sorry guys I gotta play
safety Sam on this one.

You don't need to hit return at the end of the box. Just keep typing.

Once was enough for me. I bought a sickle bar mower after this incident to keep me away from the edge of the creek (and pond). Needed another tractor pulling from the rear and a chain running from the ROPS down to a hitch on a p/u to keep it from going over into the creek. When we pulled it out, I wasn't in the seat, I was standing on the l/h side running board with my foot on the clutch, ready to jump off if anything went awry. Luckily, it went smooth.

Neighbor came over yesterday. He had mowed next to his pond and he could go closer to it, but not get further away from it. After a while he walked to the house and his wife asked him if she should get the 4 wheeler. He asked why?. She said that she had been watching him thru the window. Some days you can not get away with anything.
