Maybe dang little.

A young lady found herself pregnant with twin boys. Her circumstances at the time were such that she had no choice but to give them up for adoption.

One was adopted by a Spanish couple who named him "Juan". The other was adopted by an Egyptian couple who named him "Amal".

Years passed. The young lady got her life back on track and married rather well. One day she happened onto a picture of Juan. As she gazed fondly at the picture of Juan, she commented to her husband that she wished she could also see a picture of his brother.

"Why?", her husband asked. "They're twins. If you've seen Juan, you've seen Amal.

Me go now, Kimosabe.

Ha! Kinda like the talent show at church. Guy says he is going to sing on a hill far away then proceeds to walk up a very distant hill...!

Is that a reference to "The Gong Show"? A bit of tv history. It's outrageous to look back at that now and wonder how they got away with what they did.

This may or may not be true but this is what I heard........ When the settlers came to the "new world" it was inhabited by the native Americans , AKA. Indians.the forests were full of game, the river and streams were full of fish. Land was fertile and crops grew well. The men did the hunting and fishing, the women did the plowing and planting. The white man looked around and said"Let's civilize these savages". So they cut down all the forests, polluted all the rivers and streams, then they put the women in charge. Next time you want to go hunting or fishing but she says no, you know who to blame.
