You can clamp it anywhere it's visible. 1 heater hose connection is on engine water pump or at either rear post of cab

After you crimp it off you can then figger out why your pressures are too high... Crip'N taint gonna resolve that issue... You may find some difference in the vent temps crimped are not those pressure numbers you posted are still gonna be there and a major problem....

Need something in there to soften the edge to reduce damage to the hose. A proper valve is superior.
