A truck was worked on heavily this winter than sat for a bit. This week it would start but not run well. (enter Jocco and no one said he knew much about carbs) Went through the usual fuel pump and up to carb (just not getting gas) Well pulled the carb apart and in the bowl under the float was JELLO (IN LACK OF BETTER TERM) KIND OF A CLEAR SILICONE LOOKING MESS. For this I would like your thoughts??? I CLEANED IT OUT And truck runs ok. I have seen this before years ago in something that sat for a long time but a month or 2?? Is it water, phase separation, will it return??? thanks to all

same thing in my dad's lil red truck water and this new fuel, by the way he buys the cheapest stuff he can find.

I am 66 started working on cars vehicles at 10. I have never seen as many fuel problems. As I have seen with the new improved gas.Seen the jello stuff often.

I have seen it myself. I also relate it to the new fuel. I will not run ethanol in my small engines period. To much white stuff in the tanks and carbs.

Same here Billy but most of it is from tractor chainsaw setting 3 years!! Will treat the fuel.

Best stuff for that is Star-tron. Pretty blue bottle. Looks like a carb full of snot. That is the wonderful ethinol and a bit of moisture joining up. The startron has an enzyme in it and breaks down 5he ethinol molecular structure. Seafoam cleans but startron prevents it. Also has a little something to do with the zinc in the pot metal used to make the carb.
