Grandpa was telling his young grandson what life was like when he was a boy.

"In the winter we?d ice skate on our pond. In the summer we could swim in the pond, and pick berries in the woods. We?d swing on an old tire my dad hung from a tree on a rope. And we had a pony we rode all over the farm."

The little boy was amazed, and sat silently for a minute. Finally he said, "Granddad, I wish I'd gotten to know you a lot sooner!"
 
Reminds me of the one about the two boys that went to the pharmacy to buy a box of tampons.
When they got to the cash register the clerk asked the boys if they were doing some shopping for mom.
The 9 year old said no these are for my little brother Mikey.
The clerk asked the boy if he even know what these were for.
The boy replied no ma'am but according to the commercials with these you can ski, swim and even ride a bike.
My brother Mickey here is only 5 and he cant do any of that.
 
Little boy looked at his grandfather and asked him when he was going to turn into a frog . Grandfather said he didn't know but why was he asking. The kid replied mom and dad were talking last night and they said when you croak were going to be rich !
