White 466 chisel plow

We recently bought our first chisel plow. It is a white 466. Once we got it home we noticed someone had taken some of the shanks off. We want to replace them but have not found any to be had. Does anyone know where I could buy some of these old shanks? They are spring loaded, not rigid. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You didn't mention that you tried any Agco/Oliver dealers. Ag Pars First, 1-866-264-9720, Maibach tractor, 1-800-808-9934, are good places to start.

I find it hard to believe those shanks are not available new. Try Svehlak Tractor as he may have used ones, 512-633-5014.

One of three should certainly be able to help you out.

Not trying to sound smart at all,but if you wanted a bigger one,why didn't you buy one? If the problem is that they're not spaced even, just move them around so that they are.

It has nothing to do with wanting a bigger one. When new it had i think 9 shanks. Someone had removed 3 of them for wider spacing. For what we want to use it for we would like the smaller spacing. [/quote]

I know nothing about you or what you farm with, that's the only reason I'm asking this, but how many horses are you going to use to pull it?
